Let's figure out what might work best for you.

Your project is as unique as you are. Let’s discuss what you’re looking for so we can find the best use of our time and your money.

Below are general guidelines on costs for different editing services. But you might want some of this and a bit of that. Let’s make sure you get what you need at a price that works for you.

If you’re not sure what type of editing you’re interested in, let’s talk about it. Send me an email at laureen@lhuedits.com. I can help determine what you need based on a free initial one-hour meeting (in-person or via video conference call) or a five-page sample read.  Author-editor fit is important to me, and I like to make sure that we are comfortable working together before we commit to the larger project.

We will use a mutually agreed upon contract delineating the time commitment and hourly or per word rate for the project. The size and scope of your project will determine whether to charge an hourly or per word rate.

When projects warrant multiple services, hourly and/or per word rates may change to accommodate your needs.
